Rite Aid Corp. Announces Closure of Oregon Pharmacies

Rite Aid Corp. is streamlining its operations as part of an ongoing bankruptcy case, leading to the closure of multiple locations nationwide. Recent filings reveal additional closures, including several stores in Oregon and southwest Washington.

Facing financial challenges with a history of losses and a substantial $4 billion debt load at the time of the October bankruptcy filing, Rite Aid aims to swiftly cut costs by shuttering underperforming stores.

Additionally, Rite Aid plans to close a Wilsonville warehouse, leading to the layoff of 136 employees by April.
