Rite Aid Corp. is streamlining its operations as part of an ongoing bankruptcy case, leading to the closure of multiple locations nationwide. Recent filings reveal additional closures, including several stores in Oregon and southwest Washington.

Facing financial challenges with a history of losses and a substantial $4 billion debt load at the time of the October bankruptcy filing, Rite Aid aims to swiftly cut costs by shuttering underperforming stores.

Warrenton: 145 S. Highway 101 (store No. 5343)
Portland: 1814 N.E. 41st Ave. (store No. 5346)
Salem: 435 Liberty Street N.E. (store No. 5361)
Florence: 3451 Highway 101 (store No. 5378)
Hines: 629 N. Highway 20 (store No. 5392)
Milton-Freewater: 105 S.W. Second Ave. (store No. 5399)
Washougal: 3307 Evergreen Way, Building 4 (store No. 4067)

Closed Stores:

Portland: 2440 S.E. Cesar E. Chavez Blvd. (store No. 5347)
Portland: 4346 N.E. Cully Blvd. (store No. 5350)
Medford: 981 Medford Center (store No. 5384)

Additionally, Rite Aid plans to close a Wilsonville warehouse, leading to the layoff of 136 employees by April.
