Rite Aid halts dispensing GLP1 agonists (Ozempic/Trulicity/Victoza)

Rite Aid has stopped dispensing GLP-1 agonists due to issues with insurance reimbursement.

Rite Aid announced it would no longer fill prescriptions for GLP-1 medications, such as Ozempic, Wegovy, and Mounjaro, because insurance reimbursements are often below the cost of the drugs.   We don't know how long this will be in effect.

Patients may need assistance transferring medications to an alternative pharmacy.

This only affects Rite Aid patients.
